 True city in the city, this field of 72 ha was regarded as the center of the Earth. As it was called 'Quoted Forbidden City', thus putting the imperial residence on the same foot as the center of the Universe.The complex is installed in the middle of the Ming capital. Some 52 m broad ditches and a wall high crimson 10 m protect it.
