Yangshuo

The small town of Yangshuo, located at 65 km in the south of Guilin (Guangxi), is one of the most known places of interest and most snuffed of China. Yangshuo is considered by the tourists as the prolongation of Guilin to which it is connected by the river Li Jiang.

This pretty village, bordered by the meanders of the river Li, is extremely appreciated by the Western explorers. It is a stage considered for its extraordinary landscapes, bucolic and green strewn with sugar loaf peaks, and its pleasant and relaxed environment.

If you seek the animation and the environment of the places of interest, most judicious is to remain in the Western street, in which you will meet many foreigners. Hotels, restaurants, bars, night club with terrace and souvenir shops mark out the 'West street' as well as the adjacent lanes.

On the other hand if you want to discover picturesque China, the town of Yangshuo is surrounded by small villages which did not lose anything of their authenticity. The sportsmen will be able to pedal on one of the circuits going along the river, to visit these small villages, to lose themselves in the rice plantations or to probe the many underground caves of the area.
