Bali is an island of Indonesia located between Java and Lombok. Its size is approximately 80 km on 120 km. Bali is unique being the only island in Indonesia to be essentially Hindu. Bali is the main tourist destination of Indonesia. It takes about 15 hours by plane from Bali to reach Europe. The main tourist resorts (Kuta, Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Legian, Sanur) are in the south of the island. On the north coast of Bali, Lovina is the main seaside resort. The north-west (Pemuteram) and north-east (Amed) has the best sites for snorkeling or diving. Ubud is the main tourist center of the interior land. Mount Agung is the top peak with 3142 m.
