 Le François is located on the Atlantic coast of the island, 22 km from Fort-de-France. Le François is known for its islets and its funds (white sandy shoal located at sea also called Josephine Bath) protected by a coral reef.The sandy shoal located at sea are a particular attraction and took their name from the Empress Josephine who liked, say, swimming.
