PERU - LAKE TITICACA (FLOATING ISLANDS)
 This excursion from 2 to 3 a.m. (departure of the landing stage of the lake) was a long time the most run attraction of bay of Puno.It is it always, but its authenticity succumbed to great tourist flows. One went there ten more years ago in the boat or small motorboats: today, a noria of motor boats furrows the lake. The traditional habitat of huts in straw of reeds is often given to nine: if some kids chubby-checked fellows, capped chullo (the traditional bonnet of wool with auricles) still let themselves take in photograph for some candies, the Indians as for them, hustle themselves to propose to the tourists memories and a be-saying cluster of things artisanal which feel the mass production. Of course, it is not a question of Uros (disappeared for a long time) but inhabitants of Puno who come to settle on the islands during the tourist season. In spite of this tourist atmosphere, the excursion is worth especially for the ballade on the lake and the sight on bay of Puno, in particular towards the broad one. |
