INDONESIA - LOMBOK
Lombok is a volcanic island in Indonesia, located between the islands of Bali and Sumbawa. In the north of Lombok, the landscape of the island is dominated by the volcano Rinjani (3 726 m). It houses a caldera, partly occupied by the lake Segara, which emerges from the crater recent Baru (rash in summer 2009 - see photos). Located on the south coast of Lombok: Kuta Lombok, Mawuna, Selong Blanak, Tambah. For divers, there are also islands Gili Air, Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan. Attention, all reference guides will tell you that it is the paradise of diving and snorkeling. Bad news: it was 10 years ago! Tourism and dynamite have made damage.
