INDONESIA - MENJANGAN ISLAND
Menjangan is a small island of the north-west of Bali. Uninhabited, it is part of the National Park Bali Barat (West Bali National Park). The coast is fringed by mangroves, rock or beach and has a rich marine life. Menjangan is one of the best diving spots in Indonesia. It is not very touristy because it is relatively distant from major tourists sites in Bali. Personally, we recommend it highly! Two Hindu temples are located northeast of the island, Pura Taman Kelenting Sari and Pura Kahyangan Jagat Giri Segara. From Pemuteran, it is easy to go diving around Menjangan island. Many hotels and fishermen offer this trip.
